Helena Rohner
A designer with diverse talents, Spanish-Swiss Helena Rohner (b. 1968) has achieved success and acclaim in both jewelry and interior design over the last 15 years. Today she is widely considered one of the strongest profiles on the contemporary European design scene and her work has attracted the attention of an international clientele. While developing her own brand, over the years Helena Rohner has worked with a number of famous international design companies such as Paul Smith, Bill Amberg, Jaqueline Ranbun and most recently Georg Jensen, for whom she created the ‘Helena’ stainless steel tea set.
The Munio range is her latest collaboration, and the environ-mental aspect of the project, was a strong incentive to get involved. A firm believer of eco-conscious living, Helena Rohner embraced the idea of sustainable design and added her own unique sense of purity in form and function.
The outcome is a strikingly beautiful lineup of trays, bowls, candleholders and vases, which are not solely coveted for their design value but at the same time prove an intelligent take on sustainable use of nature’s most precious resources.
