• Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight and excessive heat from radiators or open fire as it may damage the wood and cause discoloration.
• Do not leave plastic or rubber materials on wood surfaces and please wipe up spills immediately.
• Avoid common hazards such as harsh solvents (nail polish remover, alcohol), and abrasives.
• Wooden items that are used for food should never be soaked in water and cannot be washed in a dishwasher. If necessary, please wipe the object clean with a soft, dry cloth.
• Color and grain variations are natural characteristics in au¬thentic wood surfaces, and since no two trees are exactly alike, these beautiful variations are evident in every piece of tropical wood. If dryness occurs, gently apply an organic linseed oil and let excess run off before you wipe the surface clean with a soft, dry cloth. Please repeat this procedure twice a year or when needed.
