Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Munioshop. When you shop with us, the following sales conditions are in place. We recommend that you read the sales conditions carefully and completely before you shop with us.
Munioshop is owned by the Dansh company, Munio, VAT no. 3187 0437, Esromgade 15, st. opg. 3, 2200 Copenhagen N, Denmark.
Munio was established in November, 2008.
We deliver to all European Union (EU) countries as well as Norway, Switzerland, US, Japan and Australia. Please note that there are certain conditions for countries outside the EU. For each purchase you will need to accept these conditions of sale.


Excemptions

You are aware of and accept that we are exempt from VAT, currency, toll changes, price increases, force majeure, sold out items as well as deliver problems from our suppliers.  
By accepting these conditions, you alse accept that the sales is carried through in English. If you wish for the sale to be carried out in another language, you will need to accept the conditions for this language. If there are no conditions for this language you wish to use, the sale cannot be carried out in this language.

Choice of product

As a private consumer you are aware of and accept that you have not received any advice about the goods you have purchased. You are alone responsible for your choice of product and its ability to fulfill the intended purpose of the purchase. Please read the product description before you purchase.

 

Purchasing goods

When you have chosen the goods you wish to purchase and have placed them in the basket, you will need to fill out your personal information, such as a valid e-mail address, your name, address, payment information and accept the purchase.
Before you accept the purchase, you can go back and correct your information, including the contents of your basket. When yoiu accept the purchase, you will receive an email confirming your order. Please be aware that this is not the final order confirmation. As soon as your method of payment is approved and the purchased item is confirmed in our warehouse, you will receive the final order confirmation with your personal package number so you can always track and trace your package. When we send the goods, we will withdraw the money from your card.

If a good is sold out, this will normally be informed during the ordering process; however, we give ourselves the right to write this in a later mail, where we will denote the purchased amount to zero (0) or the amount we can deliver as well as the time of delivery.
We also have the right to with binding effect confirm that we have placed the rest of your order in back order, if we can deliver the order within 7 business days.
It is not possible to access the purchase agreement via our web site. If you wish to have another copy of the contract sent to you by e-mail, please send an e-mail to info(at)munioshop.com

Payment and charges when paying by credit card
In the Munio e-shop, you can use a number of credit cards. Using credit cards and Dankort there are no charges.
The following cards can be used:
Debit cards issued from Denmark: Maestro, Visa Elektron.

Credit cards issued from Denmark: Mastarcard, Eurocard and Visa.

Foreign credit cards: Mastarcard, Eurocard and Visa.

 

Registration

When you have finished your purchase at Munioshop.com you will automatically be registrered as a customer. In your order confirmation, you will find your login information. You can choose to log in next time you shop at Munioshop.com or you can choose to start over. Your account with us will contain your ordering history. 

 

Personal information/law of personal data

In order to reach agreement with Munio to carry out a purchase via the web site, you must agree to register yourself with the following personal information: name, address, mobile telephone number, landline telephone number as well as your e-mail address.
You also have the opportunity to choose another delivery address than your billing address. Please, however, be aware that if you have chosen another deliver address than the billinhg address, for the purposes of yours and our security, we will verify the credit card information complies with the registered cell and landline telephone numbers. If we find incorrect information, we will have the right to cancel the order. 
The personal information registered with Munio is kept for 5 years or as long as your account is active, which means that it needs to be activated at least once every 12 months.
We will register your personal information with the pourpose of delivering the goods to you. By accepting our conditions of sale, you declare yourself in agreement that we will collect personal information via our web site for the purpose to fulfill your order.

In addition, we will register your delivery address (if you have informed us of it). The purpose of this is the following:
Alternative delivery addresses are saved so they can be used when a customer wishes to have an order sent to a place other than the billing address.
All Munio employees have access to information registered about you. We will not keep encrypted customer information, but will keep them on computers with access codes. The information will not be given to any third parties unless you have given permission to do this. No other personal information is registered.

All the customer information is entered and transmitted in non-encrypted form to Munio. As a registered customer with Munio, you always have the right to know which information is registered about you. In order to see this information, you can log into your account or you can send an e-mail to info(at)munioshop.com and ask to have the information sent. We will send you a login to your account(s).

At munioshop.com we will use logon statistics and cookies to give you a better purchase experience. If you do not wish for us to place a cookie in your computer, you can turn this off in your browser. 

 

Prices and product catalog

All our prices are including 25% Danish VAT. Any rebates are on conditions of timely payment. In addition to the posted prices, we will add our usual shipment costs, which you will be informed of on the web site during the purchasing situation. We provide no discounts on the transportation costs.
The price for transportation is calculated on the basis of the goods and their weight. We use standard transpoirtation costs. For more information, please see the section on delivery times and shipment costs.
We have the right to change all prices without warning.
We also have the right to change our product catalog without warning.
Unless anything else is expressly written for the individual piece, there is no warranty on the good.

Before you accept the purchase, you will be informed of the transportation and delivery costs. Any other charges will also be added to the purchase before you accept the purchase.

 

Delivery times and shipment costs

When you shop at munioshop.com your order will be generally be shipped on Tuesday or Friday; however, in peak periods, it can take up to 5 business days to ship the order.
We have chosen to use UPS as our carrier for international orders and  for domestic orders.
You can see the final shipment price when you have placed the order in the basket after giving your belling address, as the shipment costs are calculated on the basis of weight. 
Our heaviest item weighs 2000 grams and our lightest item weighs roughly 250 gram.
For purchases over 800 DKK to Denmark or another EU country, the shipment is free of charge.
 
Without any warning, we can change the limit for when a customer is charged transportation costs. Please be aware that you will pay any extra costs for express delivery. For delivery outside the EU, we will not include VAT or toll. It is the responsibility of the customer to pay the VAT and any toll that may be added at delivery of the package. 

 

Warranty and shipment risks

Warranty

We do not provide any warranty on our products.

Risikoovergang / Shipment risks

Munio ApS is responsible for the risk of correct shipment to the address, we have been provided.
The risk of the good(s) that Munio have shipped are passed on to the recipient at the time of delivery, while the risk of the accidental destruction is passed on after the 14 days return period. You, being the customer, have the burdon of proof to prove that the goods have been lost as a consequence of accidental destruction.

 

Returns

When you receive the goods, it is your responsibility to, within a reasonable period, examine the goods to ensure tha it is the same as the ordered product.
Unless something else is written we will provide returns of up to 24 months on all purchased items according to the Sale of goods Act.
The law of returns means that you, as the customer, can make complaints regarding the malfunctions of the products that become evident up to 24 months after receiving the products.

These malfunctions cannot be caused by the mistaken usage of the products or any other damaging behavior, that can have caused the malfunctions. As far as the treatment of wooden product from lesser known species, we will refer to the instructions provided at the time of the purchase. In addition the malfunction needs to have been I place when you received the products the first time. If you complain within the first 6 months the malfunction is believed to have been in place when the goods were received.
You must complain within a reasonable time after noticing the malfunction. If you complain within the first 2 months the complaint is considered timely. We will refund reasonable shipment charges that you may have had when returning the goods, when the return is considered valid.

It is also possible to deliver the goods in person at the above address if this has been agreed.
When you return the goods, we will expect that you have written the order number on the package and that you can show the receipt and payment for the goods.

As a consumer, you can demand that we:
- Fix the good(s) or deliver new fully functional good(s)
A condition for this is that the complaint is valid and that the redelivery or repair of the good(s) does not include unreasonable costs to us.
We can choose to offer you a replacement so you will receive new good(s) to replace the old. If we cannot repair or replace the transaction is canceled.
When you have let us know about the complaint, we will contact you in writing by e-mail for make arrangements for the future process.

 

Responsibility

We take no responbility for any delays.
We take no responsibility for the disappearing of the goods in connection with sending/shipment of returned goods.
